Impact Measurement

Support for decision making

We have solutions to measure environmental impacts, to support decision-making in processes and solutions that differentiate your portfolio and promote sustainability in your value chain.

Análise de Ecoeficiência (AEE)

Eco-efficiency Analysis (AEE)

It consists of evaluating environmental and economic indicators combined into a single indicator, which represents the eco-efficiency of the product, service or process. With a holistic approach to the product life cycle, it can be applied to support the sustainable development of customers throughout the value chain, reducing impacts and consumption of energy and resources. Follows ISO 14040:2009 and 14044:2009 (environmental life cycle assessment) and ISO 14045:2012 (life cycle cost assessment and eco-efficiency aggregation) standards.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a technique for evaluating and quantifying potential environmental impacts associated with a product, service or process. Impacts are assessed throughout the entire life cycle, including obtaining raw materials, manufacturing and using products, up to disposal or recycling, allowing the identification of critical points, the promotion of improvements in manufacturing processes and support for environmental product declaration. It is a tool based on the ISO 14040:2009 and 14044:2009 standards.

Product Carbon Footprint (PCF)

This involves measuring greenhouse gas emissions generated by a product at different stages of its life cycle, allowing us to understand how the product contributes to climate change and which critical points deserve attention. They are calculated according to general life cycle assessment standards (ISO 14040:2009 and 14044:2009), product carbon footprints (ISO 14067) and other product rules depending on the sectors in which it is inserted.
