We participated in the 1st edition of the Business Forum for Climate Solutions

In the week of November 25th, the 1st edition of FECLIMA – Business Forum for Climate Solutions took place, an event that is part of the Climate Week 2024. Which took place in São Paulo, at Echos – Laboratory of Desirable Futures.

Over the course of 2 days, practical cases were shared with lessons learned and insights from the main sustainability leaders of large companies, presentations of actions to promote biodiversity, sustainable innovation and discussions on paths to a low-carbon economy in Brazil.

Gabriela Santos, an analyst at Fundação Eco+, had the opportunity to present the Mata Viva Program – the ecological preservation and restoration program co-managed by BASF and Eco+. The initiative was shared early in the morning of November 25th in the panel “Guardians of Nature: nature-based solutions led by companies”, together with her colleagues Tatiana Motta, Project Coordinator at Reservas Votorantim; Eliane Santos, Sustainability Manager for Brazil at Natura; and Sarah Siqueira, Coordinator of the Climate Justice Innovation Lab at Climate Ventures.

During the panel, it was possible to learn about the concrete actions for the materialization of the Climate and Biodiversity agendas developed by the companies represented, as well as the proposed innovations.

The exclusive meeting for sustainability professionals from large companies is very important to promote collaboration and joint efforts in the private sector so that global goals to combat the climate crisis are achieved.

We would like to thank the event organizers and the other participants for the opportunity to think together about solutions for a more sustainable future!
